Karl J. Newman, President and CEO of WSRB, brings more than 35 years of hands-on insurance leadership to the table. He’s not just focused on growth and strategy - Karl is deeply committed to helping teams flourish together. His career has been defined by helping organizations grow, developing new programs, and refreshing what’s already in place, and his passion for problem-solving and illuminating each individual's potential have yielded incredible results.

Outside of WSRB, Karl remains actively involved in shaping the future. He’s a certified speaker and coach with the John Maxwell Team, sits on the McKinsey Executive Panel, and serves on the boards of the Arson Alarm Foundation and Washington Business Week.
